Who we are
Janna Meyrowitz Turner is the Founder and CEO of Antenna Up, a cultural platform and market infrastructure company at the intersection of American business and the health and wellbeing of boys and men.
Antenna Up convenes and equips the brands, employers, agencies, media companies, and cultural voices shaping how men and boys are seen, supported, and resourced in the United States.
A strategist focused on systems change, leadership development, and communication in all its forms, Janna has spent more than 20 years building values-aligned networks across the public, private, and social sectors. Her career has consistently focused on how money, power, and cultural narrative move through American business, and on who has access to all three.
She started her first company at age 23 in 2006. Style House grew over 17 years from a forward-thinking boutique PR and brand marketing firm into an award-winning strategic communications and business development consultancy serving fashion, beauty, and wellness companies. Client work spanned globally traded companies, venture-backed startups, and legacy turnarounds, including a family-owned beauty brand she helped scale from $1.5M to $300M in five years through a private equity acquisition. She became a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership teams on internal and external affairs, board preparation, and pivotal public moments.
In 2012 she began leveraging her operating and brand expertise to build and advise early-stage companies, developing a portfolio of 20+ investments in consumer, wellness, sports, and healthcare. In 2023 she co-founded the VCs For Repro Coalition, honored as a Fast Company World Changing Idea.
From 2018 to 2025, Janna developed and practiced Personal Brand Alignment, a leadership coaching and talent management practice with clients across CPG, finance, healthcare, media, and politics. The relational frameworks underlying PBA became foundational to Antenna Up's convening model and institutional thesis. From 2020 to 2024 she served on the board of A Call To Men, the national violence prevention organization training and educating men and boys on healthy manhood.
As her advisory work expanded, the patterns she was reading in the data became more visible inside her own coaching work and networks. Becoming a boy mom deepened the reckoning personally. Antenna Up was built from that vantage point: a platform that treats men's wellbeing as institutional and civic infrastructure.
Antenna Up's omnichannel platforms include Buoys Club, a recurring convening of leaders at the intersection of men's wellbeing and culture, media, and business that has grown 27x in 18 months. Antenna Up runs two annual flagship events in NYC and on global livestream: Marketing to Men Summit, advancing multidimensional representation of men and boys in American media, and Healthier Men at Work, connecting male worker health to business outcomes.
Janna's work has been featured in Forbes, TechCrunch, Fortune, Fast Company, Axios, and MSNBC. She has spoken and led workshops for organizations including Barnard College, Chief, CNN, HBO, HLTH, iHeartMedia, Nielsen, Pinterest, and TNT Sports. She earned her BA in American Studies and Journalism at Brandeis University and splits her time between Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley with her husband and their son.
